The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday released a list of 93 nations whose citizens can enter Thailand without a visa or obtain a visa on arrival and can stay for up to 60 days.
In an effort to boost its flagging economy, Thailand’s government announced sweeping updates to existing visa rules and the introduction of a new visa to attract more visitors, professionals, and investors to the Kingdom.
The announcement was made on May 28, 2024, and go into operation from June 1st.
The 57 nations who were already enjoying a visa waiver and can now get a 60-day stamp on arrival include:
Canada, Denmark, Finland , France , Germany , Republic of Ireland, Italy Malaysia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Singapore, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Australia, Austria, and Belgium.
Travels from India who were already getting a 30-day stamp upon arrival and will now be getting a 60-day stamp.,
