Results of Golfasian Customers top ten SE Asian Top Courses

Last year, Golfasian handled over 17,000 vacationers who enjoyed playing golf at some of the best courses across Thailand.

Voted the World’s Best Golf Tour Operator 2024 at the World Golf Awards, Golfasian has offices across SE Asia and therefore was in a great position to gauge customers preferences to their favourite 18 holes.

In 2023 over 15,000 customers completed a post-trip survey that was sent to them three days after their completed vacations.

 

Here is the result of their top ten golf courses in Thailand for 2023.

  2. Black Mountain Golf Club
  3. Nikanti Golf Club
  4. Chee Chan Golf Resort
  5. Siam Country Club, Plantation Course
  6. Red Mountain Golf Club
  7. Laem Chabang International Country Club
  8. The Royal Gems Golf City – Dream Arena
  9. Ba Na Hills Golf Club
  10. Alpine Golf & Sports Club

The seaside town of Hua Hin was a popular choice with their two championship courses Banyan Golf Club and Black Mountain Golf Club taking first and second spots.

Both these top-class clubs have hosted numerous European and Asian Tour events and are rated highly across the world as well.

Nikanti Golf Club near Bangkok claimed the third spot, being Thailand’s first fully inclusive golf club, and consists of three six-hole layouts rather than the usual two nines.

Chee Chan Golf Resort

One of the newer courses Chee Chan Golf Resort near Pattaya was fourth and out of the four Siam Country Clubs in the same region, customers voted for Siam Country Club’s Plantation’s 27 as their fifth choice.

Red Mountain Golf Club par 3

Red Mountain Golf Club created from a disused tin mine on the island of Phuket has been extremely popular for several years and made it in as 6th top course.

Jack Nicklaus’s Laem Chabang International Country Club was 7th, and the unique replica course, Royal Gems Golf City near Bangkok was 8th.

Vietnam was not totally left out as Danang’s Ba Na Hills Golf Club designed by Luke Donald the Ryder Cup captain was 9th with Alpine Golf & Sports Club taking the final spot in the top ten.
