Air Canada marks its 35-year milestone in Thailand by resuming direct flights between Bangkok and Vancouver until May 3. The airline aims to increase seating capacity by more than 35% compared to the previous year. On the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, passengers can experience luxurious Air Canada Signature Class with exclusive access to the Signature Suite in Vancouver and chauffeur service.

BA was originally intending to resume Bangkok in October 2022, but sometime later this year due to low-tourist traffic, the return of BA flights to Bangkok was postponed again until sometime in March 2023 with no date announced.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is set to resume operations in Thailand’s capital Bangkok after an absence of nearly 10 years.

The airline plans to introduce seasonal service between Copenhagen and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, offering three weekly flights utilizing Airbus A350 aircraft. Pending government approval, the flights are scheduled to commence on Oct. 30, marking the start of the winter 2023-24 season.

Meanwhile Suvarnabhumi airport has recently increased capacity with the opening of a second air terminal which is now fully operational.
