Mark Siegel is the owner of Golfasian and has played golf for over 30 years. He has lived and worked across Asia during the last 20 years and during this time has traveled extensively both as a golf tourist and also as a resident throughout all Indochina (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Burma, Laos, Indonesia). Out of the 325 or so golf courses in all Indochina, Mark has first hand playing experience at the 150 best courses across the region.

He currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand together with his wife and 3 year old son. Mark is fluent in Thai and has self-taught himself to both read and write in the Thai language. He is a respected and admired foreign business person among the local people, in spite of the fact that he is a 49 year old American.

Previous to living in Thailand and owning Golfasian, Mark worked for several multi-national companies in the semiconductor and electronics industry including Applied Materials where he was Vice President. Nowadays, Marks spends his time working on strategy, business development, and client relations at Golfasian and in his spare time besides enjoying being with his family, he of course plays a lot of golf! Being a current resident in Asia and avid golfer as well as having so much travel experience, he is uniquely qualified to share his expert advice and information about playing golf in Indochina.
